Lemon Sherbet

Makes: 10 Servings
Prep: 10 min; Freeze; Time will vary; 1 quart sherbet

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 cups half and half
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 to 2 tbs grated lemon peel
1 or 2 drops yellow food coloring

Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
2. Pour into 1-quart ice-cream freezer and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
